Mike Burt relocated Dragonfly Foundry to Dragonfly Vineyard after being located and exhibiting in Omaha.

Burt started in woodworking art, but became interested in bronze art.

“I was doing woodworking and I wanted something else,” he said.

Burt studied under nationally-recognized sculpture artist Les Bruning at Bellevue University, and graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha.

Today, he creates “anything and everything,” from original specialty art to work for other artists. He recently made an urn for the ashes of his father, a Korean War veteran.
